We are seeking a proactive technician with strong mechanical or electrical capability, a solutions-focused mindset, and the ability to support both routine operations and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production, process, and site infrastructure equipment.
  • Respond promptly to equipment faults, coordinating repair efforts to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain accurate engineering records, asset information, and maintenance logs using the company’s digital systems.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliant working practices and effective delivery of engineering tasks.
  • Support ongoing improvement initiatives, contributing to increased operational efficiency and enhanced plant performance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Recognised qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
  • Proven background in maintenance engineering, ideally with exposure to complex process or industrial machinery.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply safe working practices across all tasks.
  • Competence in using maintenance management systems and associated IT tools.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary in the region of circa £35,000 - £46,000, depending on experience.
  • Stable, full-time role with 42.5 hours per week plus participation in a structured on-call rotation.
  • Opportunity to work within a specialised engineering team supporting innovative, sustainability-focused operations.
  • Professional development through exposure to diverse plant systems and ongoing engineering projects.
  • Supportive working culture with clear progression pathways and the chance to broaden technical expertise.
