Senior Electrical Project Engineer

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of innovative high-voltage (HV/LV) electrical projects and power generation systems across the UK. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Electrical Project Engineer include: 

  • Lead the design and engineering of HV/LV electrical systems for large-scale renewable energy and grid integration projects.
  • Deliver feasibility studies and technical assessments, providing expert input to support project planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into wider infrastructure.
  • Conduct system modelling, simulation, and optimisation to maximise performance, safety, and efficiency.
  • Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities to ensure high-quality project outcomes.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) or equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) with relevant professional accreditation.
  • Proven expertise in power generation systems, grid connection, and SCADA applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including IEC, ENA, and BS7671.
  • Proficiency with system design tools (e.g., MATLAB, AutoCAD) alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
